Children's Ministry

 

Nursery - A staffed nursery is available for children ages 2 and younger on Sunday mornings from 9:15 a.m. to the close of the worship service. Please advise the nursery staff where you can be found should they need to contact you. Be sure to complete a registration card for your baby at the Nursery counter.

Kids Klub - A great time for children aged three to fifth grade on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Children's Sunday School - Children meet on Sundays 8:45 - 9:45 a.m. An age appropriate bonding and learning time is offered before the Sunday worship service.

Junior Church - For children age 3 through 3rd grade

What is the format?
We begin with a large group time of welcome, prayer, worship song and a Bible story.  The story will be told in an engaging way through story telling, puppet shows or video clips.  Small group time is next with classes for ages 3-Kindegarden and grades 1-3.  Small group teachers reinforce the story with a craft/coloring, discussion, games, etc.  Snacks and prayer are also a fun part of small group time. When you arrive to pick up your child, please sign him or her out.

Curriculum:  
What is God like?  God is strong, loving, powerful, always with us!  How do we know these things? The Bible!  We are learning about the character of God as we study one Bible story each week in an exciting journey from Genesis through Revelation.  

How do we get there?  When indicated on the screen,in thr sancuary, children are dismissed to the foyer at the back of the sanctuary where junior church leaders accompany them to the Promise Land area downstairs. There you may retrieve your child at the end of the worship service. If your child is not registered, please accompany him/her to the Promise Land area and complete a registration card. 

Each child is an amazing gift and every Sunday at Jr. Church we feel privileged to share God's Word in kid-sized bites with a lot of love!

Special Needs - If you or your child has a disability or special need, please inform one of our ushers outside the sanctuary so that they may direct you. A specialized staff person waits to assist you.

Friday March 2nd- Youth all-nighter at the Church.

Sunday March 18th - Youth will be providing a breakfast during the Sunday School hour

 

 

 

Attention Parents/Guardians

Please complete a student identification card for each child or youth. If your child or youth is already registered, please look over the information on their card to check for accuracy. Emergency contact numbers and/or where you can be located  is essential information for us to have. Parents and guardians are asked to retrieve their children age 3 -Grade 5 from their classrooms promptly at the end of the scheduled program.
